Oakhound grew from my love of dogs and the great outdoors. I’ve always felt most at home in the fresh open air, whether I’m hiking up mountains, skiing down them, or simply pausing to watch the leaves rustle in a quiet forest clearing.
​
When I started Oakhound, my goal was to curate a collection of beautiful, practical, and planet-friendly products for dogs — making it easy to choose well, not only for your pup but for the environment too.
​
It’s been such a rewarding adventure discovering and championing passionate UK makers, many of them small family-run brands based here in the Cotswolds, and sharing their wonderful creations with everyone who has found us online, visited our collectives, or stopped by at local markets.

And, of course, none of this would exist without Myla — our fox red Labrador who bounded into our lives four years ago. She’s now our official product tester and the family’s chief stick-finder on walks around Cheltenham, where we live.
